About Pokey

I'm looking to rehome my Black and Tan coonhound. He's 7 years old, 75 pounds, up to date on all shots. We have a 17 month old son at home and he's not adjusting well. He has food aggression and we've been through training, nothing has changed. We can't risk having him in the house around our son anymore. Nothing has happened yet but we're scared it might if he were to drop food and go pick it up. His name is pokey, he's VERY sweet. He just has triggers that set off his aggressive behavior. Right now the shelters have told us they will euthanize him and we really don't want that as an option. Please help if you can.
