Etta has been through a lot. The day she arrived in front of the shelter another dog got loose and attacked her. Etta had pretty serious wounds to her neck that required drains for almost a month. What a nightmare to start a less than ideal situation. So it took us a little bit longer to get to meet her. The entire time Etta has been with us, she's been nothing but happy and wiggly. She is pumped to see people and probably has never met a stranger. Etta is a bowling ball when we get down to her level. She can't wait to be loved on! Etta will sit on command for her treats but she hasn't mastered the stay aspect. She's always moving. Etta isn't so sure about other dogs which is completely understandable after her entrance ordeal. She's ready for people that like doggie kisses and will keep her safe forever. Come meet her at the CACC shelter in Chicago! Adoptions take place daily from 12p-6p
