***CLICK ON YOUTUBE ICON UNDER PIC ABOVE TO SEE VIDEO OF DOG*** Hi! Hi! Hi! Hello there! My name is Brutus. I'm ~3 year old, ~60lb Lab mix. My nickname is Bru bru for short. Did you say food? No? Are you sure? Treats are so yummy Do you have any treats? Food is so delicious, it makes me dance. I'd do just about anything for a treat. At meal time I will sit, stay, come, high hive, and am working on down. I sleep well in my crate at night, and will walk right in. Whenever you leave I get so sad, and sometimes whine and bark. I am just trying to convince you to take me with you. House training is going well. Every once in awhile I get really excited and just can't hold it in anyone, but I am getting better. I only have an accident about once a week now. Cars are so much fun. I can get kinda excited, so my foster mama perfers it when I'm buckled in. I would do best in a household without other small animals. My foster mama says I have a high Prey drive, and need to work on my self control. Those climbing bunnies (or squirrels) are so much fun to chase into trees or watch climb. '%8D'%8D'%8D Humans are so much fun. It doesn't matter if they are the small and stinky humans or large and loud ones. I love all humans, especially the ones who give me yummy treats. Cuddleing is so nice! I hope you don't mind my doggy snores. '%8D%8F Over the summer, I discovered a new love for water! It's so nice to go swimming in those hot summer days. I love to blow bubbles under water! Now that the leaves are dropped, you could find me romping around in leaf piles. Don't tell foster mom though, cause she just raked them in a pile. I am up to date with shots, microchipped, and neutered already! In the past, I was diagnosed and treated for heartworm. Thankfully it doesn't even bother me now. Schedule a meet and greet to see if you wanna take me home with you and love me forever! My foster home is in Mountville, PA PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption. Saturday, December 10, 2022, PA Caring for K9's will be at Faulkner Toyota in Harrisburg, PA from 10am-2pm with some of our adoptable dogs! We will also be doing photos with Santa for you and your dogs. Please check our Facebook page closer to the event as we will update daily with dogs who will be attending. All are invited to meet our dogs, but only pre-approved adopters with all household humans and dogs present will be able to adopt at the event.
