Hazel is patiently waiting for someone to apply for her. She doesn't indicate why no one wants her in their family. She is a 10-11 month old female chocolate lab mix. Isn't she absolutely gorgeous?! Don't let the pic fool you'|she's more on the petite side weighing about 45 lbs. She was found as a stray and taken to a shelter that has more dogs coming in than they do getting adopted or being fostered. So we quickly brought Hazel into our rescue before anything happened to her. She is a very smart and treat motivated puppy who has never had proper training. She is temporarily living with a trainer who is teaching her if she wants something she must 'Sit' to ask instead of jumping. The ideal (for Hazel) foster or foster to adopt home should be calm with no small kids under 10 and no dogs and no cats (as she will chase them since she needs to learn her manners). A home and family that has the patience and experience to show Hazel how to appropriately live in a human's world. If you would consider opening your home to foster this sweet beautiful puppy it will only cost you time, trust, love and respect. But in return you will get double love, snuggles and entertainment. While in foster care Jax's covers all expenses for Hazel. If you have questions about Hazel, you can contact us at [email protected] but to be considered a possible match for Hazel, the first step is our adoption application which you can find here: https://jlrrescue.org/adoption-application/
