About Xena

My name is Xena, at only 35 lbs. and 2 years old, I am a Pompsky with all the cuteness wrapped up in a little package. I have all the energy or a husky and the feistiness of a Pomeranian. I was surrendered because my owners didn't have time for me. They never socialized me properly and I have become afraid of the world. I am fearful of the outside noises, therefore, I need a family that would have some patience while I grow out of this fear. Now if I am tired, I do much better. A good play session before walks it's always helpful. I get very excited when you pick up the leash or open the garage door (for car rides) and very much want to go explore the outdoors, but even the smallest of unfamiliar sounds, send me into a panic to rush for the safety of home. I am very playful and enjoy the company of other doggos. I do tend to guard my food from other dogs, so I eat in my crate where no other doggo can take it away. I am a curious and playful girl. I love my humans and sit with them watching tv, listening to music, sit next to you while you have your coffee, or simply lay next to you when you are sleep. I do think I will do well in a home with kids 10 and up, not little ones, because sometime I jump on them and might make them fall. I am housebroken and even enjoy my crate.
