About Remington/Remi

Looking for a home for my cattle dog. He is very smart, very energetic. He is very loving and loyal. Unfortunately, we are having problems with him getting along with other animals and that is the only reason he is being rehomed. He can't be trusted alone with livestock such as chickens, but I believe he could be EASILY trained to herd as long as you are taking preventative measures. He is fine as an only dog, he is just territorial. As I said, he is very protective of his owner, but I have never had him show any aggression towards other humans, just other animals that come on the property. With that being said, he has played and had a good time with other animals, he just gets defensive when they get too close to his people, which can be a very good thing. He would be a fantastic dog for someone that is alone and active. He would do best with a large property that he can roam, I wouldn't recommend any less. He will get bored. And a bored dog is not a good dog. He LOVES tummy rubs, swimming and running as fast as possible. Fee is $150 to show seriousness and questions will be asked. Thank you.
