About Mickey

I'm trying to help find this little guy either a safe foster or a permanent home. He was abandoned at an old empty building at the end of my road and I felt so bad for him I tried to lure him into my vehicle with doggie treats but couldn't catch him. My wife went back and was finally able to coax him. He was so skinny and scared. He has been sleeping in my shed (I cant bring him into the house because I have more than a handful of large dogs that are not good with smaller dogs and they have tried to hurt him twice now when my wife tried to bring him in). My wife has been giving him a daily doggie vitamin. She has bathed him and clipped his nails. He has also been given a 30 day flea treatment and what I can only assume to be his first set of vaccines. He has gained a good bit of weight and is looking really good! He is very friendly and playful now and absolutely loves people of all ages. I think he likes other animals (?), but my dogs make it very difficult for me to find out for sure. If anyone could foster him until a permanent home can be found or if someone would like to add a lovable, friendly, playful little dog to their home on a permanent basis, please let me know. I think he is around 1 year of age (not sure on that, but I do think he is still young). He now weighs about 35 lbs. I have been calling him Mickey the Mooch and he actually listens and responds to that name. I am located South of Crane.
