My name is Tobias Cooper Dean! I was taken in by my mom in July as I was wondering the streets in Big Rapids trying to find my way back home. After a lot of walking, cut up pads on my feet, I was taken home and introduced to 5 other soon to be siblings. I had 4 sisters and a brother I got along with, and did very well right off the bat and was very friendly toward my siblings and everyone who came by. I was always told I was the sweetest boy even by the vet! I was taken to the vet after 2 weeks because my mom didn't want to keep me from my home, but no one claimed me after all her efforts. After I got to the vet and got all my shots, chipped, neutered, and had a bunch of tests taken. After being at the vet getting everything done, the vet came out and told my mom that I was abandoned after being a breeding boy and seemed to have just been kept in a garage because of the way I walk, and I was left because my heart worm test came back positive right away! They said I was roughly 2 years old, and was very kind when doing all the tests. After that vet appointment I began my journey to get through treatment to get rid of my heart worms. I was on lots of meds and got several shots that my mom and mama got me through and took very good care of me throughout my treatment. I had gotten my last and final shot August 13th�'�| and I'm all done!! I have completed treatment and I'm all better now and don't need anymore shots or medicine! I love playing ball! I just don't like to give the ball back so I make it a game to not let anyone get it. My mom taught me my name, I even got a middle name, it's Dean. She also taught me how to sit, come, nice, and be quiet. I don't like to listen to quiet sometimes though because I like to play. I am really good about telling my mom I need to go outside to go potty, but sometimes I can't hold it and I go in the house but haven't had an accident in a while, so I call it progress. I don't like to get spanked, I growl and try to intimidate and 'nip' but I'm just scared and would rather go to my kennel. My mom never gives me the chance to get spanked as well because when I potty on the floor I get put in time out for 20 minutes then I get to go outside and go potty out there if I need to again after getting sprayed with a spray bottle because that doesn't scare me as much. I've had a UTI once when I came home to my mom so she thinks I get them and that's why I potty on the floor, and she gets me checked up on it if it becomes a major issue as to my mom my health is very important. I love to go outside and play and I have lots of energy and love to chew on rubber toys! I go on walks with my mom a lot with my siblings! I like to pull and have everyone get there faster, but my mom taught me not to do it as much because I guess she didn't like when I would walk her. People are scared of me because of my big head, but I'm very kind and like to jump up to give hugs because that's how I show love, though I haven't been taught how to be loved or how to show love even though my mom and mama love on me every day! Ps my favorite snacks are frozen blueberries and peanut butter filled strong kongs �ٴ� I have gotten all better and now my mom and mama want to see me in a forever home that will love me like they do! They wanna see me happy and continue to be healthy! I love car rides but get some anxiety so I do try to sit with you, but I love looking out the windows! I wine a little but it's in good intentions, I have two different barks as well, one is a high pitch 'sissy' bark as my mama calls it and I have a deep mean bark when someone I don't know knocks at the door and I need to let them know I'm present. Overall, I need some more training, but I have a good temperament and can be the bestest boy ever! I'm looking for my forever home as my foster family is ready to see me thrive and live the bestest life!
