About Stella

Stella is a 10 month old Siberian Husky/ Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is brown and white with multi-colored eyes. An absolute beauty! She is a very energetic and playful dog who loves the people she knows. She needs lots of exercise and love. Stella can be very cute and silly. She loves to sleep on her back and get belly rubs. Important: Stella is dog and sometimes human reactive. She will bark and lunge at other dogs from the leash. She can be scared of strangers if they come on too fast and appear threatening. She responds by barking. This behavior stemmed a bite she received from another dog. Prior to this incident she got along fine with other dogs and people. She has NEVER bitten anyone! We have been working on training her to lessen her reactivity and hope to find a new owner who will continue this work. She needs someone who is willing and able to commit the time and resources to helping her so she can live her best life. She is a very loving, silly, cuddly dog in the home when she isn't stressed.
