Bolt is in foster in Denver, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/bolt/. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/. Bolt is looking for a best friend. He really loves his people and enjoys snuggling up to them and getting pets (his fur is so soft). He is a medium energy dog who enjoys his daily walk or having some play time with humans or a doggie friend. He spends most of his day though taking naps next to his favorite person or chewing on a beloved toy or bone. Bolt is potty trained, can use a doggie door, and is crate trained. He can jump up occasionally when he gets excited but otherwise exhibits good manners. He is great with cats and other dogs. While he doesn't dislike children, we believe he would be best suited in a home with no kids or older kids. Bolt is a smart boy who enjoys learning new things - he has been working on 'sit', 'down', 'stay', and 'touch' and is excited to add to his list of tricks. He is both food and affection motivated. He has a happy, calm, and easygoing personality when he is with the people he loves. He can get a bit nervous when meeting lots of new people, especially when he is also in a new location. If he is with a doggie sibling, he tends to do much better with new situations and does warm up to new places when given some time to adjust. He has done great visiting parks, breweries, and more with his favorite people and doggie sibling by his side.
