About Daisy

Great Pyrenees mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Daisy is a small pyrenees, 72 pounds, and has a close coat that is easy to keep brushed out (for a pyrenees at least!). Because of her size and coat, we assume she is a mix but do not have any info on her breeding. She is an absolute love, does well with our dogs, cat, chickens and horses. She was kept as an outside dog until we got her from friends that needed to rehome her about 5 months ago. She is doing well at learning house manners but needs some supervision still. She is a good watch dog, barks to keep coyotes away, lets you know if someone is coming but is never mean or aggressive. Her bark is low and quiet compared to our other dogs. The only reason we need to find her a new home is because she will roam if another dog encourages her. We have a similar aged LGD and together they will not stay home. She does stay with you when walked offleash, but when she gets to wrestling with the other young dog, they end up running off, sometimes for days at a time. At her previous home, Daisy could climb a woven wire fence so she needs a home with solid, secure fence or a hot wire above the woven fence. If you can give her a good home with a fenced yard, please let me know.
