About Skylar and Lucy

Siamese / Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Male

LUCY & SKYLAR The kits are very bonded--sleep together, eat together, always looking for each other. Lucy the long-haired calico with deep gold eyes is the leader. She chases the crinkly balls, climbs the scratching post & attacks the string toys before settling in my lap for pets. Skylar the tortie snowshoe is more shy but more acrobatic & a leaper. She runs to cuddle on our laps, purring & nursing the fluffy blankie. Both are proper kittens, with excellent litter box manners, grooming habits and scratching post usage. We think that with a slow introduction they would be good with a non-aggressive cat or dog. Bright eyes, energetic and playful. Both proper kittens, with excellent litter box manners and grooming habits. They're very bonded--sleep together, eat together, always looking for each other. Lucy is the leader & more bold. She comes out first for food & is the one vocalising when she wants something. She tries everything first--first one to chase a mousie, first to come out to play. She is curious and playful. Recently, she has to take a sniff of any hot tea left out. She's learned to climb the stool to look out the window. Skylar is less outgoing but more acrobatic & is a leaper. Today she jumped straight up on the table by the window--no going up steps for her. And she made the third shelf of the bookcase on her first try. She loves to see how far she can launch herself. Lucy has remained smaller but she's the explorer. Today she went from the window table to the couch for the first time. Her fur is soft. She seems a little more coordinated playing with mousie & wand toy. Each cat will come to their new home neutered or spayed, with age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested negative for FeLV, FIV and heartworms, and microchipped. They can travel along I-35 in Texas with rescue partner for a small donation. Transport is available to most southern states, CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175. All out of state adoptions/transport MUST have an Interstate Health Certificate by a qualified veterinarian for $85. We do not adopt out to Florida or California as those states have an abundance of Siamese needing placement within their respective states. Three personal references, a veterinary reference, a completed application, an adoption contract, and an adoption donation are required for adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application.
