About Anjelica

Anjelica is a real life angel! She has the saddest face in her kennel but shes not a sad dog once outside. She walks wonderfully on leash and we can see that she wore a collar from the indent on her neck. Before we got far we noticed her tail. It has some new scabs and old hair loss like at some point there was a crude attempt to dock it, maybe more than once. But that is just a guess, there are so many ways a stray dog could get injured trying to survive. Anjelica came in at a good weight, another sign she had a home at some point. She didn't show us a sit when asked but did sneak in a kiss and graciously accept our treats. Anjelica saves her playful side until we start the games. She loves tennis balls and is quite athletic for her square body! Come meet her at the CACC shelter in Chicago! Adoptions take place daily from 12p-6p
