About Jack N Ralph

Adoption Fee: $600
German Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Ladies & Gentlemen grab on to your seats as our #DynamicDuo #Jack & #Ralph are officially up for Adoption! You may remember these #Dapper men from when our rescue family spent a full week in freezing temps to trap both boys & Mama Mara, along with her 5 puppies. It completely broke our hearts when we found out that all 3 were heartworm positive. But it was no surprise after finding out from neighbors that they had been roaming the streets of East Detroit for around 7 months. Sadly on intake it was impossible to simply keep All 3 adults together plus the 5 (5 week old) pups, but thankfully these 2 boys got to stay together. That being said, both Jack and Ralph rely and depend on each other and will be adopted out as a #BondedPair. #Playful, #Affectionate & oh so #Loving, #Jack is 2.5 years old #GSD Mix who weighs in at 66 lbs. He can be a little shy at first, but once Jack opens up he is the sweetest boy who craves love, human companionship and a good cuddle session. Then there's his brother... #Laidback, #Handsome & oh so #Sweet, #Ralph is a 6 year old #GSD Mix that weighs in at 68 lbs. Ralph plays hard to get at first, but warms up within minutes. He's a #GentleHeart who simply craves human companionship and wants to be with his brother Jack. Jack and Ralph are currently in a foster home where they are big brothers to a 2 year old little girl who they absolutely adore. Then they have their big 16 year old human brother who they have created the biggest bromance with. Both boys do well with most other dogs with a proper introduction. Unfortunately cats are unknown. Jack and Ralph are incredibly smart and now know all of their basic commands. They do well on a leash and are also very food motivated. Both boys are 100% potty trained and 100% crate trained. Both boys love fish skin treats, ice cream, the fresh food dog toppers (cooler dog aisle), cod treats and Kong bones or shin bones filled with peanut butter or cheese. They love to be #active, run, jump, walk fast, hike, boat and enjoy car rides. Jack and Ralph would thrive best with an active family that could show them what being a real dog is all about. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: NO EXCEPTIONS - Fenced in Yard Required (No Invisible Fences) - Bonded Pair: Must Be Adopted Together Jack & Ralph are currently up for adoption through Help Us, Help Them Dog Rescue. Their adoption fee is $600 (As A Bonded Pair) & will include their distemper, rabies, bordetella, parvo, & lepto vaccines; deworming; microchip; heartworm treatment & Recheck for Heartworm; fecal test & being fixed. Jack & Ralph are currently on both flea & tick, as well as heartworm prevention. Jack & Ralph are currently being fostered within the metro Detroit area. Our mission is to play an active role throughout our community by 'Lending A Helping Hand' to animals that were either abandoned, in shelters, unwanted, homeless, chained outdoors, or victims of prior abuse and/or neglect. Our rescue family has accomplished this by setting up each animal and their new families up for success by educating and consulting pet parents about what's in the best interest of their pets overall well-being, and creating an awareness in our community about the vital importance of fully vetting and spaying or neutering their pets. #HelpUsHelpThem #HelpUsHelpThemDogRescue #RescueDogsOfDetroit
