About Bonnie

This little girl has been through a lot in her life, and now that we've gotten to know her, we need to make sure that we find the forever home she needs. Bonnie is smart as a whip. She is sweet, affectionate and loyal. In fact, she's a little too loyal. Bonnie was placed in a home with a lovely couple. Once she chose the husband as her person, his wife cannot come in the room without a growl from Bonnie. Trainers and behaviorists later, we are looking for a home with ONE single person. She loves walking, boating and collects acorns! And will sit in your lap if you let her. She is great with children, visitors and other dogs, she has just made it very difficult for the wife. Bonnie needs a loving home with someone who knows how to gently set ground rules, and enforce them--emphasis on GENTLY! We do not know Bonnie's history before she came to us. If you are an experienced dog owner looking for your best bud, maybe Bonnie is for you. Bonnie is about 4 years old and weighs under 20 lbs.
