About Zealand

Zealand is ready to find his forever home ! In May of this year he was tossed out of a truck in front of our rescue, lucky for him we happened to have a spot open which doesn't normally happen. We discovered his hip was dislocated and he needed surgery. Unfortunately for him, It seemed to have Ben dislocated for a long period of time. His FHO survey went great and it's been a super long road to recovery but we made it. We have put so much love into this big guy we are going to be thrilled to see him adopted. Zealand likes other dogs his size and medium sized. No cats or real small dogs. He loves kids and meeting new people. Zealand is a shepherd mix, he's about 2 years old and super sweet. He's a big goof ball and loves to play with his ball. He will benefit from a some training, we haven't been able to do a ton of work with him while he's been on bed rest but he does walk well on a leash.
