About Sunflower

Sunflower is ready for adoption! Sunflower is a Corgi mix. We believe a Dorgi (Corgi/Dachshund) She is 11 months old, 24 lbs, spayed, current on vaccines and heart worm medicine and has her microchip. Sunflower is NOT good with cats. Probably due to the Doxie in her. She is good with most dogs but would be better with a younger dog her size or smaller who can keep up with her energy levels. Her foster family says ' she's a very loving and sweet dog and loves to be near us throughout the day. She'll frequently roll on her side and show us her belly for rubs. She's got a lot of energy and loves to play and go on long walks too. At the same time though she loves to nuzzle next to one of us on the bed and take a nice nap at the end of the day. She definitely is not a fan of our cat. She loves chew toys and is learning how to use a tug toy still. She also loves to try to jump and sneak some food from the edge of the counter, so we have to move everything closer to the inside' Sunflower loves to play and chase balls. She does also love to cuddle. She is house and crate trained but will need a refresher in her new home until she's acclimated to a new family, schedule and place. Sunflower is currently in foster care in the Dallas area but available for adoption within a 300-mile distance or her approved adopter is welcome to meet her at her foster's and pick her up.
