About Poe

Pretty cool Great Dane-Poodle mix. He has a bit more Dane than poodle, so he's pretty big, almost the like a (pure) Dane, but has a muzzle similar to a poodle. Black some some white here/there (will upload pics soon). We have another dog about the same size and he gets along great, but is always wanting to play. Has more than average energy, needs a lot of room to run and needs a tall fence if kept in yard; he jumps 4 ft fences, so be aware, that's not tall enough. Has exhibited some fear aggression with animals and people he's not familiar with, but that can be normal, once he knows them, he loves them. Has been good around our children, with only exception being the tale whip, he's got a thick tail. We're only looking to rehome him because of personal/emotional reasons-we thought we were ready for another dog after the passing of a prior animal and we are very much not. Will post pic soon. Be aware, this guys eats a 55 lb bag every 3-4 weeks. He's not cheap to feed but would be a wonderful pet for the right family.
