About Jax

Jax is a 1.5 yr old healthy and energetic male that I've had since he was 8 wks old. He's UTD on all vaccines and heartworm preventative and had a negative fecal and heartworm test this week. I have a copy of all vet records. He gets along great with our other medium sized female dog but gets over stimulated when around more than one dog. He loves kids of all ages and has never shown any type of aggression. His mom is full-blooded brown Pointer and dad is full-blooded black Lab. Both are hunting dogs and Jax had his dewclaws removed as a puppy to prepare him for hunting but there aren't any hunters in my household so he has not been taught to hunt however I believe he would be very good at it. He is full of energy and does not like being outside longer than it takes to potty unless someone is out there with him. He also doesn't like to be in a kennel for any amount of time so he sleeps with my son every night and he hasn't been taught to stay off of the couch (sorry ). We are having to rehome him because there are several hours a day that no one is home and he needs a home that will have someone there at all times and give him the attention he needs. He is housebroke and the only time he barks/whines is when he's locked outside or in a kennel. He will let you know he needs to go potty by standing by the back door. He is almost solid brown with a very thin white stripe on the center of his chest. If you have any questions feel free to ask.��%BD%A0
