Hello, my name is Luna. I am a high energy, sweet, smart, and love to be with my owner all the time. I have all my shots, heart quart medication, flee & tick control and I have be spayed. I am very easy to please my owner and love to play fetch with my ball. I love to sleep with my owner and I will have a close bond to my owner. I am not real good being along for more than about 2 or 3 hours. I was not kennel trained as puppy but learning about how my kennel is a safe place that I can go into to sleep and feel safe but I am allowed to come out of kennel when I want too. I need a new owner that has a firm hand that w my positive training but also really need a very compassionate, loving owner that wants a wonderful companion. I am skittish towards new people and if introduced slowly, I can get used to new people and love them too. I would not be good being left at home alone for more than 2 hours. She is skittish towards new people she doesn't know, but introducing her slowly is fine. I can be trained out being skittish with new owner that continues my positive training and have some patience with me to get over my past. I have been teaching her on a long lead to come when called, stop at end of sidewalk, and leave it. Walks well on front lead harness. She knows all her toys by name and will retrieve them when told. She is very alert watch dog while in house. She needs a fenced in 6 foot back yard to be able to run and get my daily exercise. She needs an owner that works from home or retired that I can be with her most of the time. She is very gentle, give kisses, cuddle, go on walks, go on car rides, play fetch and she is use to living in the house. She would make a veteran a great companion that can go to service training to learn what new owner needs her to do help them. She needs a home as soon as possible because I am extremely allergic to her double coat. My owner wants me go to a loving home that will take good care of me. I do have a sensitive stomach so my current owner has me eating 'small bits' hill's science diet perfect digestion. This is only food I like and will eat. I am not crazy about big bite dog food. I love my tough toys because I enjoy chewing on my toys. My owner never gives me rawhide very dangerous. I get real cow bones (not stuffed) from butcher. My owner boils my bones so I don't get sick from salmonella. I am a little skittish of new people and scared of other dogs. Before I got her, Luna was attacked by a pit-bull when a puppy. She is fearful of other days been scared of other dogs after that but I think she does need another dog companion that is extremely laid back and gentle around her. A dog a little bit smaller than her. She does like cats, but can be a little rough when playing with them. I let her play with my 7 month old kitten under supervision, so kitten does not get hurt. If you're looking for a Velcro dog, that will be your best friend, protect you, and give you unconditional then, Luna would be the perfect dog for you! Luna needs a home with a single person or a married couple that can give her a lot of love, attention, and that can give her a lot of exercise in fenced in back yard. She loves just cuddling up on couch with owner. She's really enjoys sleeping next to her owner or down at bottom of bed. I am the current owner of this beautiful sweet dog. Unfortunately I can not keep her. I need to re-home her asap, because I found out I am very allergic to her double coat fur. I just want to make sure she gets a loving new owner that will not hurt or abuse her. She deserves a great home where her funny, sweet personality shines. She is very smart and loves to learn new things. She is a pre bred dog. Her mother was Siberian husky, and father was German Shepherd. She is 55lbs in perfect health and fully vetted.
