About Chop

We have had Chop basically his whole life. We adopted him when he was around 6mo old and has been my best friend. It breaks me into pieces at the thought of giving him away or literally just not being around him. His birthday is July 4th.. he's my 4th of July baby. He's 5 years old and loves cuddles. He will sleep all day with you. The issue now is that he does not get along with his dog sister and is very resource aggressive. He needs someone that will take their time to understand him and be patient. We just had a baby and we don't have the resources to separate the dogs 24/7, it's unfair to him and my other dog to even do so because one would be locked up and the other would be out and again it's just not possible for us right now. Chop is loving, he is faithful and he will protect you with his life. He is just not a good fit for our family and it's unfair for me to continue to have him with us because we cannot adjust to his needs. I marked he's not good with kids but that's not all true. We have a baby and he does fine but I'm concerned about kids that may take his toys/etc.
