About Bear

Courtesy Post- Matthews, NC Meet Bear! He is a 6-7 year old German Shepherd/Border Collie mix male that is still intact and was abandoned at the Matthews Animal Clinic in Matthews, NC. He lives indoors and the clinic is trying to help this guy before they have to surrender him to local animal control. He has already had an exam. He has whipworms, hookworms and is positive for heartworms. He has been treated for fleas with a bath already and has been dewormed. The clinic has also given him his rabies vaccine. He is very laid back and loves belly rubs! He has never bitten anyone at the clinic. He is wonderful with other dogs and children! They are unsure how he is around other cats, but the vet tech says she doesn't think he will mind them. He has some skin issues that are being treated and are healing well! He has some mobility issues in his hind limbs but gets around just fine. He weighs 53 pounds and was brought in as a stray.
