About Brothers

Adoption Fee: $100
Irish Wolfhound mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

A woman in Guadalajara contacted me a few months ago about 2 dogs that were strays in the street and pretty malnourished. Even though she was not allowed to have pets at her rental, she started feeding them and got them sterilized. They are fully vaccinated now too. Unfortunately I have not been able to find them homes and after a couple months her neighbors started causing problems for the dogs and threatened to poison them. Wendy was afraid for them so contacted a huge dog shelter in Guadalajara and gave a donation and they took the dogs in. This shelter is a one way ticket unfortunately. No dogs are adopted there.....ever. The person running the shelter is from the US with good intentions but no money and is really struggling to feed the dogs enough or at all on some days. Wendy went to visit the 2 dogs yesterday and they are very thin and not thriving. I really want to help find all the dogs homes but these two boys that someone tried to help I just have to find homes for. I can bring them on the big dog rescue bus to Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon or Washington for a $100 transport fee per dog. They get along with other dogs but have been outside dogs their whole lives. They are young, about 1 1/2 years according to the vet.
