About Taffy

Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

There's no easy way to describe this girl! Taffy is such a charmer with her silly, happy, sweet, clumsy, and playful personality. Taffy is a 3-year-p;d, 60-pound female pit bull terrier mix who's located in Grafton, MA. Anyone who meets Taffy falls in love. After spending a year with her foster mom and foster doggie brother, and learning so many things, she is now ready for her forever home! Prepared to be charmed by Taffy's ears! They can flip flop and move every which way as if she is signaling aliens. She has an amazing butt wiggle along with a constantly wagging tail. As a young dog, she is very happy and bouncy, with a love for activity and training. She is also the sweetest snuggly marshmallow whose greatest joy is being among her people. Taffy loves hard, plays hard, and trains hard. She is so eager to please you, and consistent training helps her focus on a job. She's super smart (despite her goofy looks) and knows many commands. She does need slow introductions with other dogs. Her one challenge is some anxiety and fear-reactivity with them, but she is very trainable and can be easily corrected. Bonus Alert! Taffy's adopter will get a free private session with her trainer who's been helping her get more exposure around other dogs. NEEDS: Her forever person will have previous dog-experience. A new home will be a big change, so her person must give her the time she needs to settle in. She is at her best with an established routine and being among her family. No cats or dogs for this lady, and no younger kids since her strong wiggly excitement may knock them over unintentionally, and her love of all toys may cause a sharing issue. Kids should be age 10 and up. When you inquire or apply for adoption, please tell them Animal Rescue Konnection sent you! For general questions, email [email protected]
