I have made the tough and sad decision to start the search for a new home for my 2.5 year old female German Shepherd, MAYA. She has not acclimated very well into our new living situation (an apartment building in with a ton of people/dogs). Does great off leash (people and dogs) with good recall. She needs more daily stimulation and room to let her energy out, preferably a fenced yard. More about her: She is spayed. Potty trained. Loves people, can be shy at first. Once she warms up she is the most loyal. Okay with other dogs, dependent on environment and other dogs demeanor, tends to be more independent at daycare and dog parks. She boards well and attends doggy daycare with no issues. Not much interaction with children. No interactions with cats or other small animals. Good in the car. Currently free roams the house. 1 year obedience, agility, and E-collar training. Loves swimming and playing fetch. I know she has the potential to be a great working dog or even hiking buddy for somebody, very trainable and probably the smartest dog I've ever owned. I would recommend working more with a professional trainer on perfecting walking on the leash.
