About Carmen

Carmen will be your best friend! She is a sweet soul and you can tell she loves with all her heart. She enjoys spending all of her time with you whether it's playing fetch outside or snuggling on the couch. She loves to play and has lots of puppy energy. She will need an active person and or another playful pup in the home will be needed for her. Without the proper amount of outside play to burn of all of excitement and happy energy she can get into puppy mischievious-ness...if you know what we mean :). A fenced yard ~5ft tall would be ideal for little Ms. Carmen. She really loves being outside so if you are an outdoorsy kind of a person, consider what a great companion Carmen would be on walks, hikes or jogs. She loves treats so it's a good opportunity to continue positive reinforcement training. She is a great age to continue to build good manners and to be on her best behavior. She is already crate trained and doing well with potty training. Remember consistency and routine are the best ways to help pups be successful! She is also working on her leash manners so daily walks to practice will need to be added to your daily routine. She is good little snuggler after playtime and is happy to share her love, affection and kisses. Carmen is a little shy at first with strangers but will warm up with kindness and affection. She is also learning about that thing on wheels called a vehicle. Though a little nervous at first she settles in for the ride. Vacuums are another new thing in her world and she finds them a little scary so introducing her slowly but surely to 'the beast.' She does love toys! Loves chew toys, loves stuffed toys, loves chew toys, rope toys, loves chew toys (did we mention chew toys?) etc. Her favorite toys are ones that she can chew (chew, chew, chew on!!) so make sure to have lots of them for her. Do not leaver her unattended with things you do not want her to chew because she will find them! No little kids for Carmen only 10 and up please. She has not been cat tested. She has been good with all the other doggy friends she has meet. Carmen DOB 09/13/2021; 38lb, female Lab mix. As part of Carmen's $300 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
