About Capitan-Red Listed

Urgent!! Capitan has been Red Listed!!! If I was captioning this collage of CAPITAN (#A2033718), I'd simply say 'Sweetness personified.' Yet, his 'family' surrendered him to the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, claiming 'he is violent and bites.' CAPITAN is listed as 5-years-old. He was given to the most recent 'family' by a relative two years ago and was kept in the yard 24/7. doG only knows what he has endured since puppyhood. I am not the only person who has interacted with CAPITAN and enjoyed his pleasantness and affection, other volunteers have as well. He has come a long way since arriving here!
