Sweet Stella was rescued last month from the Carson Shelter when she was Rescue Only (RO)for a bite incident. Stella was originally dumped at the vet next door to the shelter with her 6 month old son (who was immediately adopted without her). Stella was pregnant at the time and she was spayed and her unborn babies aborted. Just a day after her surgery somebody came to the shelter to adopt her, and in the meet and greet they were allowed to pick her up.... at which point (either from pain or from fear) she turned and screamed and bit the person. Hence began her 10 day quarantine and RO status. So needless to say she's really been through quite an ordeal. But she's still sweet as cherry pie despite it all. Stella is just 3 years old and has her entire life ahead of her.... so who will be the lucky person to give her the life she deserves? If you're interested in adopting her, applications to adopt can be found on our website at: https://www.savingimperialschuver.org/ https://form.jotform.com/81551103089149 Out of state will be considered for qualified applicants.
