About Beasle

Adoption Fee: $100
Pit Bull mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Hello, there! My name is Beasle! Yes, you heard that right! I was once known as Diesel but everyone and his cousins have had a dog named Diesel so I officially changed my name! I'm a native of South Carolina but came to Augusta Dog Adoptions because I was in a very crowded shelter that was going to kill me! I sure am glad I'm here! I enjoy taking walks and I LOVE to roll in tall grass. I mean, I LOVE it so much! I'm a smart boy who will do anything for food including shaking your hand. I've surviving being shot and treated for heartworm disease and now I've waited in a foster home for a year for someone to want me! I am housetrained and have excellent indoor manners but I will chew up a toy or shoe when I'm really happy! I play with lots of other dogs in my foster home and I sleep quietly at night. I love to be with people and going for rides and getting lots of head rubs. I'm just waiting for one person to see the goodness in me and offer me that furEVER home I've been dreaming of! A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Beasle, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
