Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! Frostbite was rescued on September 2, 2022 from a Garden Grove location known for frequent rabbit dumping. He is a rex mix rabbit. Rex rabbits are known to be less allergenic than other rabbit breeds! So, if you have slight allergies or sensitivities, he might be a great match for you! Plus, his silky fur is to die for! I've rescued many rabbits over the years and he is right up there at the top of the list for one of the friendliest rabbits around! There's not an ounce of fear in him. He melts into your arms when you pick him up. He likes kisses on his forehead and nose. He is calm and does not try to wiggle away from you. But he's a bun with SO MUCH LOVE to offer, and he truly deserves a forever home to call his own. Maybe it could be yours? He's a young, spunky, energetic bun who relishes his romping time! Make sure you let him get his wiggles out during exercise time and once he tuckers himself out, you'll have a snuggle buddy for life! He is available on a foster-to-adopt basis until his neuter surgery on October 25, 2022. You would bring him back to the rescue the day before the neuter so he can be transported to his appointment. After his neuter, the adoption is finalized. Frostbite should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Frostbite can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. Delivery available to the greater SoCal area. His adoption fee is $60 which covers the cost of his neuter surgery. Any additional donations to keep the rescue afloat are appreciated.
