About Remi

Remi at her best is a beautiful, sweet, playful, loving girl. She loves her walks, chewing on sticks, and will lick your arm off if you let her. Unfortunately, she was in an abusive home as a puppy. When I got her she had defensive aggression towards men, food aggression, and evening aggression. We have made a lot of progress in the past 3 years, but there is still some lingering aggression. She is no longer aggressive toward men, but has not taken to some women recently. She has to earn her food and with that her food aggression has gone from a 10 to a 1. She still has trigger words of 'goodbye' and 'goodnight' which will send her into fits of barking. Yelling and shouting severely triggers her anxiety. I do not recommend her being around children. She is very pretty, but can be easily triggered and unpredictable. I love her dearly, but my schedule has changed creating very long days and I am not able to give her the time, training, and consistency that she truly needs. I would love to find her a good home where someone has the time to put in the work with her and create a place where she feels safe and secure.
