About King

King is a 10 month old German Shepard/Malamute mix. He's a big strong boy. He's very sweet and loves to be with his people as much as he can. He likes to cuddle and can be a bit of a couch potato. His foster Mom says he's a gentle soul. King is still a puppy so expect plenty of exercise to make him tired and he is learning to contain his excitement when meeting new people and animals. He would love to be adopted into a home that has another dog to play with. He absolutely needs a fenced in play area to keep him safe. He is still working on his leash skills. As with any big strong puppy it will be important to practice this skill. He does have some prey drive and wants to chase small animals but with introduction and correction, he will leave them along. King is kennel and house trained. Please take a look at his video and see how gentle he is with his foster sibling puppies. King is currently being fostered in a loving foster home in Grand Rapids.
