About Amore

Amore suffers from PTSD and Anxiety after being attacked by 2 other pitbulls. His Anxiety has been since he was a puppy. He is unable to be in a cage/kennel because he brakes out even when conflicting harm to himself. He is potty trained and is getting better with going on walks.(we had to practice after the attack) Amore also knows commands like: sit,lay,up,down,stay,paw,chase your tail and etc. Unfortunately after the attack Amore isn't great with other dogs, not even on walks; again he's getting better being walked with a training leash and choke collar. Unfortunately Amore needs a home because our landlords no longer want him. We also have come to the conclusion that the best thing for Amore is family that is able to attend to his needs. With his PTSD and Anxiety he is unable to stay home unattended for more than hour and becomes destructive to the home(again, he is unable to be in a cage; he will get OUT) He also succeeded in nipping 2 other dogs, that we had to pay surgery for. We could no longer afford him. He had to get surgery himself after the attack (he was scalped)plus the 2 surgeries of the other dogs and the fines that come with having the breed. These are the reasons why Amore needs a home. He is no longer bringing joy to our home and fills more like a burden which isn't fair to him or for us. I have always suggested a veteran for Amore, someone with PTSD themselves, someone who needs him as much as he needs them.
