Clancy - Male - Bichon Frise - 8 years old - 10 pounds Our sweet Boy Clancy is an 8 year old Bichon Frise with an adorable personality! Clancy is a Puppy Mill Survivor which requires a specific home for his needs. He loves to be around other small dogs and to play outside. He gets so excited to see his friends in the yard that his little tail wags and wags. He is more comfortable in smaller, quieter playgroups, so he'll do best in a quiet home. Clancy is 10 pounds. He has started to take treats that his human tosses to him! The key for working with super shy dogs is to let them set the pace. Patience, understanding and guidance from another dog is very helpful. Clancy will need more time to adjust and that is a-okay. Clancy is not potty trained. Clancy is waiting for a quiet and patient adult family who will allow him to be the pace setter. He needs a more confident dog of a similar size to help him continue to grow and a secured fence yard for safe outside play. He has started learning how to walk on a leash but is still a rookie, baby steps. We do ask, no small children in his forever home. Clancy is completely vetted including microchip and dental.
