Ziti Ziti is a Female Lab mix. DOB: May 16th, 2018 Adoption fee: $100.00 I am a big girl who deserves a second chance for a new life. I arrived at the shelter heartworm positive. I completed my treatment and have recently been given the gift of a heartworm negative test!! I do have an older injury to my front left leg. I still enjoy going for leisurely walks with my favorite volunteer and will romp around a little with a couple of my pals (both human and canine) for short bursts before wanting to relax and settle in for belly rubs. I will need an owner who has a good relationship with their veterinarian. I am not recommended for a first-time dog owner or an owner which has not owned a dog for 8-10 years. I'd prefer no children under the age of 12-15. Visiting grandchildren may be okay, but I am not a toy. I am not a high energy dog, although I have spurts of energy, I am quite chill most of the time. The shelter is a busy place and I prefer to bird watch, sniff the ground and lounge. I can be hardheaded and will require a physically fenced in yard. I am not into being a playmate for another dog. I may do well with an older dog, or a low energy smaller dog. I may be okay with a dog friendly cat.
