About Willie

I'm Willie and I need a new home. I'm a 9 year old neutered Boarder Collie mutt who loves my family almost as much as I love chasing a ball at the park or, better yet, chasing the sprinklers at the park! I'm an indoor dog who loves to sit on the coach with you; I'll even let you rub my belly all night long if you'd like. I go trail running and hiking with my current family and can keep up with any exercise they give me! I have short hair and it's really easy to take care of, my people just give me a shower when I get too dusty. I live with a cat right now and he is amazing to watch all day long��%BD'��%BD|sometimes I'm told to stop staring at the cat, which I do most of the time��%BD'��%BD|if not I'm told to sit on the coach and chill out, which I do. I really trust my adult people to keep me safe when out at the park. I come and stay when asked��%BD'��%BD|as long as it suits me, which is most of the time, and if it doesn't they just holler louder and then, sure, I'll come. I currently live on a big park with lots of dogs and I do really well with them as long as they aren't too much bigger than me and my people stay calm. Did I mention I'm a Boarder Collie and have some energy; well I do and if other dogs are really excited then my people need to put me back on my leash and tell me to chill out, which I do. When my kids take me for walks I feel like I need to protect them and��%BD'��%BD| I've taken that a bit too far recently. As a result, my family is helping me look for a new home, one without kids to protect. Maybe I can find my ultimate dream: a farm for me to work at all day with no kids coming up to my kids so I don't feel as if I have to protect them. I'll be honest, I'm an awesome and loving dog with lots of energy but high anxiety and overprotective issues. I'm hoping you'll be interested in helping me find a good home.
