About Cotton Candy

(DOB 7/31/2022). Due to Cotton Candy's young age, she has not yet been spayed. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). As of 10/9, she weighs 12.5 lbs. Cotton Candy is as sweet as her name. She was the first born and has been leading the way as the 'older' sister ever since. She is a young, social, rambunctious, playful girl. Her days consist of eating, sleeping and playing �'�| and with 8 siblings, she gets A LOT of play time. She loves getting attention and being held by her foster family and she can never have enough toys. She is just starting her house-training journey. She NEEDS a home with at least one other young adult dog to help her with her social development. As a puppy, she is still learning how to play properly. With sharp teeth and nails, she may accidentally nip or scratch young children, so if there are children in the home, they should be at least 8 years or more and be knowledgeable about proper play/interaction with puppies and dogs. Her mom is a true mixed breed dog. We think she has some shepherd, beagle, and lab. (Pic of mom included for reference.) She has a GREAT temperament, and her pups seems to have inherited her sweet personality. Her dad is unknown. A fenced yard is HIGHLY preferred but is not required. If there is no fenced yard, she is going to need LOTS of daily walks or doggie daycare to help get her puppy energy out. As part of Cotton Candy's $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. At the time of adoption, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
