About Bruce

We rescued Bruce from the humane society where he had been for over a month. He came with a history from his previous owners who had him for 4 years in an outdoor kennel. He is good with cats that are comfortable around dogs. He really wants to be their friend. He needs to go somewhere that really has the time and energy for him. He is a high energy working dog and would do best with another high energy dog or a family that will take him hunting and give him daily stimulation. He will hunt for things to chew on if he is not exercised enough. He knows sit, stay, come, lay down, go (But he will choose when to listen to them unless you have a treat in your hand) He is the sweetest dog you could ever imagine and just loves to be loved and a part of the family. In all honesty, I just bit off more than I could chew. I felt bad that he had been at the shelter for so long and just wanted to give him a home. We are not a hunting family and we do not have the energy outlet that he needs.
