About TOBY & TINKERBELL

** ADOPTED ** Toby and Tinkerbell are 8 years old. They're brother and sister and have recently lost their home. They're very sweet but a little bit under-socialized. In spite of that, they are friendly and even relatively comfortable with people, and will become even more loving as they become more confident in their new home. Both dogs came to us terribly overweight. We've put them on healthy, low-fat diets and they are getting in shape nicely. Their new family should be dedicated to feeding them only healthy food, and monitoring portion control -- these sweet babies deserve to feel comfortable, healthy, and happy... they are so precious! Tinkerbell is not fond of going for walks. With this, we prefer that their new home have a yard (even if small) with their own private potty area. In time, she may become confident enough to walk on a leash -- but it is going to require patience on your part (we really hope she will get to enjoy walks like other happy dogs). Toby does great on a leash. Both ride nicely in the car. Any children in their new home should be of an extremely kind nature, responsible, respectful, and at least 12 years old. While T&T don't mind activity, their setting shouldn't be overly loud or rowdy... but instead, happy, upbeat, and gentle. Both dogs are now current on vaccines, have had bloodwork done, microchipped, health checked, and Tinkerbell has had a complete dental. Toby will also have his teeth cleaned in the near future so they will both have mouths that are in good shape. We really cannot say enough about how very precious and loving this little pair is.
