This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. 501C3 RESCUE ONLY NEEDED - URGENT Male tricolored chihuahua needs a new home. The shelter environment for this little one is not working. He came in on September 19th as a stray from the field. He is microchipped and owner stated he gave the dog away. So basically, this poor guy has been abandoned. He is so scared that we are unable to touch or handle him in any way. He still lunges and tries to bite us despite the time he has been here, he has not warmed up to us. We have given him treats, spoke nicely and on a couple of occasions, we were able to pet him, but he quickly freezes and tries to bite. Unable to age. He deserves better than this. Is there someone out a RESCUE that can pull help? HE IS IN RED STATUS AT THIS TIME. NO DEADLINE HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED YET.
