It is with such a heavy heart that we are having to rehome our dog. We have tried and tried to make it work, but he is simply not compatible with our kids. He has unfortunately bitten my son (who is 7 and has adhd and autism) twice now and I can not risk having him in our home any longer. We love him dearly and he really is a sweet boy when the kids aren't around. He does get a little possessive over his food or toys and growls over them sometimes, but most of the time he will snuggle right up with you. He knows how to sit, lay down, shake, and I taught him 'boop' which is pretty cute. He needs to be trained not to jump on people, and he does bark quite a bit while outside or if a car pulls in the driveway (although he has been learning what the bark collar does). He has a lot of energy, but settles down pretty quickly once he adjusts to the change (as in company coming over, getting home etc.) I honestly believe if he had a home without kids and a home in which he could release more of his energy, he would not have the aggressive streak anymore. We are going to do everything we can to ensure he goes to a good loving home that will offer the environment that he needs and deserves. Please do not waste anyone's time by responding if you have any ill intent for him. He can be trained and is super smart. He deserves a long happy life and I just don't feel like we can give him that here. His birthday is November 11th, 2018. We have had him since he was 12 weeks old. He was adopted from a rescue group that does dog adoptions at petsmart. His shots JUST went out so he is technically due for vaccines, but they had been kept up with otherwise. I can supply his full vet records. I also have a very large crate, a few toys, and food/water bowls, a lead line for outside, collar, leash, and bed that will come with him.
