About Josie

American Staffordshire Terrier / Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Josie! Josie is about 3.5 years old, 55lbs of pure muscle, and looking for a forever family where she is your one and only. She loves attention from all humans but prefers those over 10 years old because she is full of energy and doesn't want to accidentally knock them down. She is currently in a home with another dog, but they have a love hate relationship. She is a very vocal dog. I've noticed that when she is socializing with other dogs, they don't get her 'taking' and take it for aggression. They can play nicely together but when things get revved up, she turns into the fun police, and it can turn into an MMA match. Josie is full of energy. She would fit best where she has a lot of freedom and can be outside a lot! She requires lots of loving, very, needy when it comes to attention and affection. This hasn't been a problem because everyone falls in love with her when they meet her! She's fine in a crate when left alone but has also been fine when left out during the day. She is protective of her turf when it comes to other animals. No squirrel, chipmunk, chicken, cat, or other animals are welcome. She will bark at delivery people and random people but not aggressively, just to say 'hi'. She craves 100% of someone's attention! She has no clue what personal space is, and she doesn't care about yours! In your lap? Yes please! Loves to play ball! She is excited at first on a leash but after a few minutes she does really well! If you're looking for a fun-loving girl who wants to be your one and only, please come and meet Josie! Loving her is all you will ever need!
