About Ross

Ross loves being with and getting attention from his humans. He is a ULTIMATE SNUGGLER and the perfect lap dog. He also loves to snuggle up under a soft blanket when he can't be on someone's lap. Ross hasn't met a child that he doesn't like from ages 1 to 14. He is cautious of adults he does not know but always warms up. Ross has a low to moderate energy level, prefers to play with dogs his size or larger, which is not difficult considering he only weighs 12lbs. He seems to tolerate cats well. He is house trained, but will jump a fence that is at least 5 feet so leash walking is safer! He loves his toys, especially tug of war. He enjoys other dogs and really gets into his playtime with them, making all sorts of animated and humorous barks, growls, and postures. Apply on CrisisDogsNC.org. Excellent vet reference and virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard but this is not required for all our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
