Woof, Woof, everyone! I'm Marilyn, an ultra-sweet, friendly, enthusiastic, affectionate, and energetic 47-pound German Shorthaired Pointer mix gal who was born in October 2019. Just call me easy-to-please because I love everyone -- adults and kids -- as well as other dogs. We GSPs make happy, trainable pets who bond firmly to our family. 'Noble' and 'aristocratic' are words often used to describe our overall look. We were bred as gundogs both to retrieve and to point. Built to work long days in the field or at the lake, GSPs are known for our power, speed, agility, and endurance. We thrive on vigorous exercise, positive training, and lots of love from our humans and family. We're always ready for physical activities like running, swimming, organized dog sports -- anything that will burn off some of our boundless energy while we spend time outdoors with our beloved human. A Good Samaritan found me running as a stray with a canine buddy on the mean streets of Houston, picked me up, and brought me to Miss Donna to find me a wonderful new home. I heard Miss Donna say, 'Marilyn is the sweetest dog -- ever.' Gee, I'm flattered, and I hope that my aristrocratic good looks, affectionate, enthusiastic personality, and sad story all motivate you to arrange to meet me today. My heart has so much love to give -- all I need is you! Marilyn is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
