About Zia

Zia is a 7-8 month old Shepherd/Husky/Bully (?) mix. She is a very bright girl and is very curious about everything. Zia always makes fast friends at the adoption event with both dogs and people. She is great with cats as well! She loves to play with her foster cat brother and is appropriately submissive to her older foster dog sister. Zia is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves the company of her people. She would do best with a family who has an active, dog playmate who can also help her continue to learn good dog manners. A large secure yard for playdates between walks or other outdoor activities would be ideal. She is crate trained, house/potty trained (she prefers using a doggie door), and knows many basic commands. Again, she is a highly intelligent and a very trainable dog! Thank you for your interest in a Rescue Pet! PACA is a Foster-Based Rescue with no shelter. We have adoption clinic on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications.
