Herro! My name is Sonny and yes, I know I'm adorable! My rescuers think I'm a 1-2 yr old black lane mix. I'm a sweet gentle boy and though I'm very friendly, I'm a can be a little timid. When I first meet people I crawl to their feet and ask for belly rubs because I try my best to show people that I'm a very sweet guy. I had a pretty hard life up until recently. Me and Cher, who might be my puppy, were rescued from roaming the streets because our owner was on drugs. Our previous owner lived on a very busy road and they had many other dogs who roamed free also. As you can imagine, it was a very dangerous situation and sadly I watched as my fur-siblings would get hit by cars. My rescuers passed my house many times and stopped to help us each time. Finally, after one of my fur-sisters was hit by a semi truck, my old owner gave the nice lady permission to take me and Cher home with her so we could have a chance at a better, safer life. Now, we are on the schedule to be spayed & neutered and the nice lady said she is going to help us find our very own Furever Match! We do not have to be adopted together because we do fine either way! I'm crate/potty trained and I'm very well behaved! I like kiddos and I don't really bother that cats either. I'm a calm boy who loves to snuggle but I do love to bounce around and play too so if you chose me, you'll have a pup that can do it all!
