About Astro

Meet cutie patootie Astro! He is a 2 year old, 48#, Pug/Lab blend with possibly a little shepherd in the mix. This adorable guy found himself in a high kill Texas shelter after his owner passed away. Sadly, family was limited and unable to take him in. He has taken it all in stride and has been an absolute joy in his foster home. Astro is a fun dog with a ton of personality and wonderful temperament. He adapts easily to any situation and will make you laugh as he trots around exuding loads of 'doggie' confidence. Just an all around happy well-adjusted pup! He's one of those dogs that will fit in anywhere! Astro loves people and does great with kids and other dogs. He is curious, smart, and wants to please! Enjoys walks, exploring his surrounding and cuddling with his person. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion Astro may be the dog for you! He is completely house trained and is calm and quiet when crated. While in our care Astro has been fully vetted, is up to date on vaccines and preventatives, heartworm tested, neutered and microchipped. If you rent your home we require a letter from the landlord submitted with your application granting permission for a pet. A secured fenced yard is preferred and for many of our dogs is required.
