About Minnie

Lab / Cocker Spaniel
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Please help us find a good home for this pretty girl named Minnie who has been waiting at the Downey shelter to find her forever home or a foster and rescue after being abandoned with puppies who have been adopted already. Minnie is listed as a 2 year old lab retriever, but weighs only 42 lbs and thus may also have spaniel or another smaller breed in her. The shelter has sent out a plea for help meaning she is running out of time. The shelter says Minnie can be timid at first, but in video they just sent us and we can share, once she feels comfortable, she is excited and comes to the kennel fence all wiggly and tail wagging, as well as gives kisses. Minnie ended up in the shelter because of a landlord issue after she had puppies. The shelter has since spayed her, and has requested that any children in the home be at least high school age since she is timid at first. She has been tolerant of calmer dogs only so far. We are looking for a responsible, loving and patient home or foster. Minnie may be adopted directly from the shelter by calling (562) 940-6898 or using her listing link: http://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=LACO.A5500675 and ask for ID A5500675. If you are interested in fostering however, or need further help, please contact [email protected] of Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who will try to pair you with a willing rescue to save her. We have additional pictures and videos to share as well.
