About Chantilly

Chantilly is a Pyranees, Hound mix, spayed female. She is approximately 5 years old and UTD on all vetting and has completed basic training. She is a slow to warm up girl that needs time to get to know people before she can bond with them. Therefore, she does not need to be in a home with kids or in a home where different people are in and out non-stop. She is house and crate trained and has great leash manners. She thrives on structure and routine and the continuation of the boundaries put in place for her by her trainer. Therefore, adopters need to be willing to follow through with this as she transitions to her new home. She's a quiet dog that's low to medium energy. She loves play time with doggy pal (although she doesn't want to go play in the dog park with stranger doggies) and riding in the car. She never messes with things she shouldn't, in the house. Her foster mom says that she is sweet and loving towards her people, but is a stranger danger type dog. She remains quiet in the crate, knows her commands but is stubborn and opinionated. Extremely tolerant of her overbearing friend Rascal, lol. Up for just about anything, unless it's hot outside. Definitely seems to do better with male dogs.
