About Honey

Honey is a 6 month old female lab mix who weighs about 40 pounds. She has been lucky enough to live in a foster home where we have learned many things about her. She is a medium energy dog who is often calm. But she is also very much a puppy and can have puppy energy. She is not mouthy and does well with children. She is still working on house training, but has been successful to a doggie door. Honey sleeps well through the night. She may chase cats, but does OK with a confident cat who will stand his ground. She rides well in the car and is good on leash walks. She does well with other dogs and is very playful. She protects her food from other dogs which may need some management in a multi-dog home. She is still a chewer and must have chew toys to keep her from chewing on inappropriate things. Sometimes she tends to dig in the yard when she is bored. Honey is smart and wants to please and would make a great addition to any family. My adoption fee is $150, plus $25 for an annual dog license, if you live in Jackson County.
